ten days on the north island with ursi & alex (9.-19.march 07) |
| We had some wonderful days with nicis parents visiting us. We met at mount maunganui and went to rotorua, taupo and napier together. On the top of mount maunganui we celebrated alexs birthday with a picnic and classical music. In rotorua we visited a hangi, getting to know the amazing culture of the maori people. We hiked through some thermal valleys: Sitting in a natural hot stream looking up to the stars felt like being in the spa in rheinfelden back home. It felt cosy and wonderful to have some family around, after all that time! So we didn't mind a few rainy days and had some wonderful moments talking, reading and cooking in the back of alex&ursis huge campervan. We were really sad when they left for the south island! So we re looking forward very much to having more family and friends visiting us in the future :)! |
