We chillaxed a whole month at azians and sheldons place, sharing it with two lovely young (gay?) cats. It was just what we needed, after all that travelling in south america! We went to the beach almost every day, got to know the "pipers" (the local cafe) crew and on several nightshifts we had a smoke and painted azians old van "the dorian". Thousand thanks to azian and sheldon, we love your swiss flag!! Still, it needed some patience until the old toyotas mechanical and artistic treatment was done, so we did a trip up the peninsula to go camping at the wonderful waikawau and stony bays. When the dorian was ready to rock, we helped azian and sheldon moving house and drove further south to wellington. There we met sams wonderful kiwi friend dale and her open minded friends in their funky shared warehouse flat at tasman 181. Check out the swing!! Enthusiastic about all that beautiful unique nature and the friendly new zealanders we cruised the dorian onto the interislander ferry, bound for the south island.
