Thanks to our friend cate we found a place to stay and leave some things behind in auckland. Her auntie mary and uncle shime were wonderful hosts and treated us almost like their own kids..they drove us to many places, showed us around, and we probably even put on a bit of weight thanks to marys skillful cooking. As well, we enjoyed the company of their daughter katija and had a playful afternoon with their loveley grandkids. We will come back here after our trip ends in november 07.
